Jankovic, Dyna Ishaan, Fuzzy Bale and Tyson's Champ were slow to begin.  Dyna Ishaan, Fuzzy Bale and Holly Size collided approaching the first turn checking Fuzzy Bale, Holly Size, Jankovic and Tyson's Champ.  Fuzzy Bale checked off Tyson's Champ on the second turn.  Jemima Allen was held up for a run approaching the home turn.

Jam Up, Market Bird and Miss Cuddles were slow to begin.  Market Bird and Miss Cuddles collided soon after the start.  Jam Up checked off Rebel Lane on the first turn checking Market Bird and Miss Cuddles.  Market Bird and Miss Cuddles collided in the front straight.  Jam Up checked off Anniversary Girl approaching the second turn and again approaching the third turn.  Rebel Lane checked off Crystal Hand entering the home straight checking Miss Spice.

Neil's Wish and Rinkhale were quick to begin.  Big Intention, Heather's Akira and Teegan's Lad collided soon after the start.  Heather's Akira, Teegan's Lad, Vapour Trail and Bomb The Surf collided approaching the first turn.  Big Intention and Heather's Akira collided on the first turn checking Heather's Akira and Teegan's Lad.  Big Intention and Rinkhale collided approaching the second turn.  Hay Affair Two and Neil's Wish collided approaching the second turn.  Heather's Akira and Bomb The Surf collided approaching the second turn and again on the second turn, severely checking Heather's Akira, Vapour Trail and Bomb The Surf causing Teegan's Lad to fall.  Heather's Akira, Vapour Trail and Bomb The Surf collided on the third turn.  Neil's Wish eased approaching the home turn.  Big Intention and Neil's Wish collided on the home turn.  Neil's Wish eased in the home straight.  Big Intention and Neil's Wish collided approaching the winning post.

Heather's Akira was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the left forefoot, no stand down period was imposed.

Teegan's Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Neil's Wish was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained graze marks to the left hind leg, no stand down period was imposed.  Stewards spoke to Mr N. Baker, Trainer of Neil's Wish.  Stewards deemed the performance of Neil's Wish unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Neil's Wish must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.  Stewards also issued a warning to Mr Baker, regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the home turn and in the home straight.

Vapour Trail was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Bomb The Surf was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Beccy Cole and Under Threat were slow to begin and collided soon after the start.  Bo Houdini, Raid The Bank and Black Elton collided soon after the start.  Stenwick and Magpie Bob collided approaching the first turn.  Beccy Cole, Bo Houdini, Raid The Bank and Black Elton collided on the first turn, severely checking Beccy Cole.  Bo Houdini and Black Elton collided entering the back straight.  Bo Houdini, Raid The Bank and Black Elton collided on the third turn.  Magpie Bob and Under Threat collided approaching the home turn.

Yoshimitsu was slow to begin.  Dr. Aye Jay, Luczak and Icebox collided soon after the start.  Yoshimitsu and Luczak collided on the first turn.  Din's Echo checked off Dale Bale on the second turn.  Luczak and Din's Echo collided on the third turn checking Din's Echo.

Kent Bale was a late scratching at 10:35am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to flea infestation.  No stand down period was imposed.

Under The Holly was a late scratching at 11:05am by Order of the Stewards.  Mr D. Cairns was fined the sum of $200 for negligently failing to present his greyhound for this event, pursuant to GAR 86(o).

Dave Culprit was slow to begin.  John And Jayjay, Gold Sienna, Mister Curtis and Insignia Miss collided on the first turn checking Mister Curtis, Bill Baillie and Insignia Miss.  John And Jayjay, Dave Culprit and Mister Curtis collided approaching the second turn checking John And Jayjay.  Dave Culprit and Mister Curtis collided on the second turn.  Dave Culprit checked off Gold Sienna on the third turn.  John And Jayjay and Mister Curtis collided on the third turn.  Gold Sienna and Dave Culprit collided entering the home straight.

Boris Fields was quick to begin.  Raisafus and Kalimna Elite were slow to begin.  Jimmy's House and Raisafus collided approaching the first turn checking Raisafus and Kalimna Elite.  Madam Truffle checked off Born Ali approaching the second turn.  Raisafus and Dr. Pyrois collided on the second turn.  Raisafus checked off Madam Truffle on the third turn checking Dr. Pyrois.  Raisafus galloped on the heels of Madam Truffle on the home turn.  Kalimna Elite and Madam Truffle collided entering the home straight.

Helen's Fantasy was quick to begin.  Vinnie's Spirit, White Sugar and Black Bikini were slow to begin.  Bomber Jack and Black Bikini collided soon after the start.  Scooter's Girl contacted the running rail on the first turn, severely checking Vinnie's Spirit, White Sugar and Bomber Jack causing Scooter's Girl to fall, Black Bikini tailed off.  Vinnie's Spirit, White Sugar and Bomber Jack collided approaching the second turn.  Where's Anton checked off Simone's Mate on the third turn checking Helen's Fantasy.  Where's Anton and Bomber Jack collided several times approaching the home turn. 

Scooter's Girl was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained soreness to the right triangle muscle, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Black Bikini was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Speed Lane was quick to begin.  Dispatch, Illustrious and All The Zeez were slow to begin.  Dispatch and Cosmic Black collided on the first turn checking Dispatch, Cosmic Black and Astronomer.  Cosmic Black, All The Zeez and Astronomer collided entering the front straight.  Illustrious checked off Regal Sound on the second turn.  Regal Sound, Speed Lane and Illustrious collided approaching the third turn and again on the third turn checking Regal Sound and Speed Lane.  Astronomer and All The Zeez collided on the third turn checking both greyhounds.  Dispatch checked off Cosmic Black approaching the home turn.

Whirlaway was a late scratching at 10:55am on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injury to the right eye, a 5 day stand down period was imposed.

Dr. Ellise crossed to the rail soon after the start checking Just Bliss and Ali The Great.  Amram Allen and Sin City Girl collided on the first turn checking Amram Allen, Miss Mozoltov, Sin City Girl and Dr. Ellise.  Sin City Girl checked off Proceed approaching the second turn checking Sin City Girl, severely checking Ali The Great.  Sin City Girl checked off Dr. Ellise in the back straight.  Sin City Girl and Just Bliss collided approaching the home turn.

Kid Richard was slow to begin.  Tatty Fields, Violent and Bronny Enlim collided approaching the first turn checking Tatty Fields.  Violent and Sand Slide collided on the first turn checking Violent, Love Of Lauryn and Our Danny Boy.  Tatty Fields checked off Sand Slide approaching the second turn.  Love Of Lauryn and Tatty Fields collided on the second turn.  Tatty Fields and Love Of Lauryn collided on the third turn.  Violent raced wide on the third turn.  Bronny Enlim and Sand Slide collided in the home straight.  Tatty Fields, Violent and Love Of Lauryn collided in the home straight.

Briganti, Trainer of Love Of Lauryn.  Stewards deemed the performance of Love Of Lauryn unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Love Of Lauryn must perform a Satisfactory Trial, All Tracks, before any future nomination will be accepted.  Stewards also issued a warning to Mr Briganti, regarding Love Of Lauryn's racing manners on the second turn.
