Damo's Pineapple galloped on Wolfie's Squeeze approaching the home turn checking Wolfie's Squeeze. Soda Witch was checked off Superstar Jessie in the home straight. Let's Roll and Crackerjack Yapa collided in the home straight. Crackerjack Yapa failed to pursue the lure approaching the winning post.
Crackerjack Yapa underwent a post race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 11, no apparent injury was detected.
Stewards spoke to Mr. L. Harris the trainer of Crackerjack Yapa regarding the greyhound's racing manners approaching the winning post. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Crackerjack Yapa was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr. Harris pleaded guilty to the charge, Crackerjack Yapa is suspended for 28 days at Warragul and must perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
