A sample was taken from Killara John upon arrival on course.
Rare Gem has not raced for in excess of 3 months and is returning to racing from a seasonal spell and change of kennel.
A pre-race sample was taken from Rare Gem.
Rare Gem went up with the lids at box rise. Daisy Me Diggin' and Sabakat collided approaching the first turn. Killara John galloped on Daisy Me Diggin' several times on the home turn.
Daisy Me Diggin' underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right calf muscle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
