Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Oliva's Pearl.
Titanium Springs and On Degoey were quick to begin. Yondu and Olivia's Pearl were slow to begin.
Olivia's Pearl and Titanium Springs collided soon after the start, Olivia's Pearl muzzle dislodged as a result. Yondu crossed to the outside soon after the start. Soda Ezy checked off Shooter's Ajax at the 300m mark. Titanium Springs and Shooter's Ajax collided at the 250m mark and again at the 200m mark. Titanium Springs eased at the 50m mark. Olivia's Pearl tired over the concluding stages.
Titanium Springs underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was re-examined following race 6, no apparent injury could be detected. Stewards spoke to Mr S. Brincat, the representative of Titanium Springs regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the winning post Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(A)(1) Titanium Springs was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Brincat pleaded not guilty to the charge, Titanium Springs was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Healesville and must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
