Steward's Report
Molly's Money was quick to begin. Gazza's Pick was slow to begin. Soda Ezy and Aston Xanadu collided soon after the start checking Soda Ezy. Gazza's Pick, Aston Xanadu and Chook Richards collided approaching the first turn checking Gazza's Pick and causing Aston Xanadu to fall as a result. Chook Richards checked off Kiewa River Flo on the first turn checking both greyhounds.
Aston Xanadu underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a minor laceration to the nose and an injury to the right triangle. A 5 day stand down period was imposed.
