Pursuant to GAR 104 (6) Parade, Mr. G. Glass did not act in any official capacity for this event that may have had an effect on the outcome.
Kraken Rye was quick to begin.
Janray Rastus and Aston Torres were slow to begin.
Gotta Jump Start and Kraken Jacki collided soon after the start. All Inn Handles and Good Work Johnny collided approaching the first turn. Janray Rastus galloped on Liberal Jones approaching the first turn. All Inn Handles galloped on Gotta Jump Start approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds. Janray Rastus and Aston Torres collided on the first turn checking Aston Torres. Gotta Jump Start and Aston Torres collided on the home turn. Janray Rastus raced wide on the home turn and again in the home straight.
Aston Torres underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have split webbing to the left hind paw. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
