Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr J. Magri, representative of Die Laughing, regarding the scratching of that greyhound when trainer Ms M. Mallia-Magri had another greyhound engaged in the event. Mr. Magri advised that Die Laughing had been scratched due to wrist soreness and it was their intention to have the greyhound examined by their veterinarian by Tuesday 19/2/19. Mr. Magri was directed to provide a copy of the veterinary report to Stewards.
A pre race sample was taken from Summer Skye.
Huxley and Calendar Boy collided approaching the first turn. Summer Skye checked off Calendar Boy approaching the first turn checking Summer Skye causing Summer Skye and Benny's Entity to collide. Huxley checked off Zoom Out approaching the home turn. Huxley and Zoom Out collided on the home turn.
