Stewards spoke to Mr M. Wright, trainer of Devil‘s Cartel, regarding the scratching of that greyhound when Mr Wright had another greyhound in the event. Mr Wright provided Stewards with a copy of a veterinary report for Devil‘s Cartel dated 12/2/2019. Stewards accepted the explanation for the scratching.
A pre race sample was taken from Talanjee Chief.
Go The Force was slow to begin.
Black Kruger and Nimble Jackson collided soon after the start. Blue Bar Pie and Zipping Jerry collided approaching the first turn.
