Stewards spoke to Mr F. Langenhoff, the representative of Silver Dollar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Silver Dollar last raced on 13th August 2018.Mr Langenhoff stated that the greyhound was resuming from a spell.
Ding Dong, Bricabrac and Silver Dollar were quick to begin. Akina Spice was slow to begin.
Ding Dong and Busy Bella collided approaching the first turn checking Ding Dong. Ding Dong, Island Cruiser and Akina Spice collided on the first turn checking Ding Dong and Island Cruiser. Island Cruiser, Akina Spice and Silver Dollar collided approaching the home turn checking Akina Spice and Silver Dollar, severely checking Ding Dong and Dreamliner, causing Ding Dong and Dreamliner to race wide. Busy Bella and Bricabrac collided in the home straight checking Bricabrac.
