Miss Walt was quick to begin. Brandeen Fi and Pinky Tuscadero were slow to begin.
Ima Ghost Buster and Bags Of Bucks collided soon after the start checking Ima Ghost Buster. Bags Of Bucks galloped on Miss Walt on the first turn checking Ima Ghost Buster, severely checking Voluptuous Ruby. Pinky Tuscadero and Bags Of Bucks collided entering the home straight checking Ima Ghost Buster and Bags Of Bucks. Miss Walt tired in the concluding stages of the event.
Miss Walt was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found. Stewards spoke to the trainer of the greyhound Miss Walt, Mr. T Interligi. In his opinion the greyhound's weight played a factor in the greyhound's performance. Mr Interlegi stated that the short time frame between races may also have been a factor.
