Tiger Minstrel was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured right hock, a 90 day stand down period was imposed.

Delta's Tiara was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained left monkey muscle and left wrist injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr T. Churchill, the representative of the greyhound Delta's Tiara regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the first turn.  Delta's Tiara was vetted and re-vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left monkey muscle and left wrist, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Delta's Tiara with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr Churchill the representative pleaded not guilty to the charge, Delta's Tiara was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewards spoke to Mr F. Langenhoff, the representative of Silver Dollar regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races.  Silver Dollar last raced on 13th August 2018.Mr Langenhoff stated that the greyhound was resuming from a spell.

Ding Dong, Bricabrac and Silver Dollar were quick to begin.  Akina Spice was slow to begin.

Ding Dong and Busy Bella collided approaching the first turn checking Ding Dong.  Ding Dong, Island Cruiser and Akina Spice collided on the first turn checking Ding Dong and Island Cruiser.  Island Cruiser, Akina Spice and Silver Dollar collided approaching the home turn checking Akina Spice and Silver Dollar, severely checking Ding Dong and Dreamliner, causing Ding Dong and Dreamliner to race wide.  Busy Bella and Bricabrac collided in the home straight checking Bricabrac.

Daintree Dynamo was quick to begin.  Ninetymile Donny and Alonso Power were slow to begin.

Daintree Dynamo and Precious Metal collided soon after the start.  Mossy Oak and Alonso Power collided approaching the first turn checking Mossy Oak.  Luna Evening and Mossy Oak collided on the first turn checking Mossy Oak.  Alonso Power and Daintree Dynamo collided on the first turn checking Daintree Dynamo which lost ground over the remainder of the event.  Luna Evening and Daintree Dynamo collided entering the home straight.

Miss Walt was quick to begin.  Brandeen Fi and Pinky Tuscadero were slow to begin.

Ima Ghost Buster and Bags Of Bucks collided soon after the start checking Ima Ghost Buster.  Bags Of Bucks galloped on Miss Walt on the first turn checking Ima Ghost Buster, severely checking Voluptuous Ruby.  Pinky Tuscadero and Bags Of Bucks collided entering the home straight checking Ima Ghost Buster and Bags Of Bucks.  Miss Walt tired in the concluding stages of the event.

Miss Walt was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  Stewards spoke to the trainer of the greyhound Miss Walt, Mr. T Interligi.  In his opinion the greyhound's weight played a factor in the greyhound's performance. Mr Interlegi stated that the short time frame between races may also have been a factor.

Mr P. Pollurto, the representative of Meehan Barney declared a new weight of 33.5kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Meehan Barney last raced at 32kg.

Amlin Freddie was slow to begin.  Straitline Willy was very slow to begin (3 lengths).

Philo Bale and Cool De Beers were slow to begin.

Keno Bale and Philo Bale collided approaching the first turn checking Philo Bale.  Vane Power and Ruby's Cheekstar collided approaching the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Vane Power, Keno Bale and Ruby's Cheekstar collided on the first turn checking Vane Power and Keno Bale.  Cool De Beers raced wide in the home straight.  

Micky Rads was quick to begin.  Mister Maker was slow to begin.

Dr. Walter and Paddy's Cripp collided soon after the start checking Paddy's Cripp.  Paddy's Cripp and Mister Maker collided approaching the first turn.  Temujin and Cheeky Cindy collided on the first turn checking Temujin, Cheeky Cindy and Dr. Kestrel.  Paddy's Cripp and Mister Maker collided on the first turn checking Paddy's Cripp causing both greyhounds to race wide.  Temujin and Cheeky Cindy collided on the home turn checking Temujin.  Dr. Walter and Micky Rads collided in the home straight.

Blue Tornado, Blueflash Lenny and Rocky's Kayo were slow to begin.

Banjo Sally was a late scratching at 11:27am due to weight variation (GAR 39). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr E. Lieshout was fined the sum of $100.
