Daintree Dynamo was quick to begin. Ninetymile Donny and Alonso Power were slow to begin.
Daintree Dynamo and Precious Metal collided soon after the start. Mossy Oak and Alonso Power collided approaching the first turn checking Mossy Oak. Luna Evening and Mossy Oak collided on the first turn checking Mossy Oak. Alonso Power and Daintree Dynamo collided on the first turn checking Daintree Dynamo which lost ground over the remainder of the event. Luna Evening and Daintree Dynamo collided entering the home straight.
Daintree Dynamo was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left wrist injury, a 28 day stand down period was imposed.
