Oscar Keeping was slow to begin. Usagi Bale and Gemstar collided approaching the first turn. Oscar Keeping, Gemstar, Vee For Vegas and Lektra Happy collided on the first turn. Oscar Keeping checked off Usagi Bale on the third turn, causing Oscar Keeping to fall.
Oscar Keeping was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the left hind toe and right shoulder. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
