Steward's Report
Zelemar Knight was a late scratching at 12.21pm due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Bordello Queen was a late scratching at 6.38pm due to non arrival (GAR 31). A 28 day stand down period was imposed. Trainer Mr J Karamatic was fined the sum of $100.
Crowdza Captive was quick to begin. Tyra Giselle and Oxley Delight collided on the first turn. Delta Bolt faltered on the first turn, severley checking Oxley Delight and Babylon; Delta Bolt tailed off as a result.
Delta Bolt was vetted and re-vetted following race 5. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle tear. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
Shortly after the event the semaphore board malfunctioned and displayed the incorrect time. This was immediately corrected to 29.47.
