Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Leslie Wright, the trainer of Sanduman, regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Sanduman last raced on 21 May 2018 and is resuming after changing kennels.
A pre-race sample was taken from Fidget Spinner.
Sanduman was quick to begin. Kelli Pochette and Broken Rules were slow to begin.
Serendipity Love and Big Cam collided approaching the first turn, checking Serendipity Love. Kelli Pochette and Broken Rules collided on the first turn, checking Broken Rules which contacted the running rail. Serendipity Love raced wide approaching the home turn. Big Cam checked off Kelli Pochette entering the home straight.
Broken Rules was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
