Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr R.Taylor, the trainer of Star Project regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Star Project last raced on 15 April, 2018. Mr Taylor stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after a left monkey injury.
Avoided Chaos was slow to begin.
Raglan Bindi was very slow to begin (3L).
Better Way eased approaching the first turn and tailed off. Unique Quality and Dashing Dyson collided approaching the second turn. Ryben Bill clipped the heels of Unique Quality approaching the second turn. Ryben Bill and Avoided Chaos collided approaching the home turn. Star Project and Unique Quality collided entering the home straight. Ryben Bill raced wide in the home straight.
Better Way was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the left triangle and was found to be in season. A stand down period of 28 days was imposed.
Raglan Bindi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained shin soreness in the left hind leg. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.
