Steward's Report
White Swirl was very slow to begin, (3L).
Micky Rads and Constant Rythym collided soon after the start. Kamchatka Lenny, Gunna Be Hoping and Starbright Toby collided soon after the start checking Gunna Be Hoping. Micky Rads, Constant Rythym and Just Over collided approaching the first turn. Badelaide Road galloped on the heels of Constant Rythym on the first turn severely checking Constant Rythym which fell. Starbright Toby and Just Over collided on the first turn severely checking Just Over which fell checking Kamchatka Lenny and Gunn Be Hoping.
Constant Rythym was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a fractured left humerus and was humanely euthanised.
Just Over was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a minor back injury and a superficial laceration to the front left foot. A stand down period of 3 days was imposed.
