Steward's Report
Fend Off was quick to begin. Wears Woodleigh was slow to begin. Rumble Drive, Street Outlaw, Shanlyn Magic and Weeona Bont collided soon after the start checking Rumble Drive. Rumble Drive faltered on the first turn and subsequently tailed off. Weeona Bont and Wears Woodleigh collided on the home turn checking Wears Woodleigh. Fend Off, Navajo Bear, Weeona Bont and Wears Woodleigh raced wide in the home straight.
Fend Off underwent a post race veterinary examination after falling past the winning post and was found to have concussion, an injured neck and left chest muscle. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.
Rumble Drive underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have an injured right back muscle. A 60 day stand down period was imposed.
