Steward's Report
White Arandt and Opening Bid were slow to begin.
Bisenti, Ultimate Speed and Opening Speed collided on the first turn checking Ultimate Speed. Opening Bid and Dyna Joe collided entering the home straight, Ultimate Speed turned it's head outward's and collided with Opening Bid and eased over concluding stages.
A post-race sample was taken from Bisenti - the winner of the event.
Ultimate Speed underwent a post-race veterinary examination and was found to have a right back muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards spoke to the handler Mr G. Dailly, regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the home straight. Acting under the provisions of GAR 69(B)(1), Ultimate Speed was charged with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury). Mr G. Dailly pleaded guilty to the charge, Ultimate Speed must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
