A pre-race sample was taken from Billy's Missile.
Brayden Lennox was slow to begin. Cassius Monelli stumbled at box rise. Midnight Tess and Chopping Spuds collided soon after the start. Mega Hazel, My Alibi and Billy's Missile collided soon after the start checking My Alibi. Cassius Monelli and Brayden Lennox collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn checking Cassius Monelli and My Alibi. Brayden Lennox and Vienna Gypsy collided approaching the home turn checking Vienna Gypsy. Billy's Missile raced wide approaching the home turn. Cassius Monelli and Mega Hazel collided entering the home straight.
Billy's Missile underwent a post race veterinary examination and was found to have a sprained left stopper, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
