Maina Honey was a late scratching at 11.09am when Mr. H. Wilkinson reported the greyhound to have soreness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed.  Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.

Time To Talk and Feikuai Donna were quick to begin.  Vandagambo was slow to begin.  Solid Bling stumbled soon after box rise.  Mayor Digby, All In Baz and Solid Bling collided soon after the start.  Feikuai Donna and Dava Supreme collided soon after the start and again on the first turn.  Dava Supreme, New Lass, Mayor Digby and All Inn Baz collided on the first turn checking New Lass.  Dava Supreme contacted the running rail on the first turn.
