Midnight Titan, Kiewa River Run and Figment collided on the first turn checking Midnight Titan. Midnight Titan galloped on the heels of Hardaway Annie on the home turn and collided with Sacre Bleu checking Midnight Titan and Sacre Bleu.

Luka's Choice was slow to begin. Eye Dunno and Ginny Woolf collided soon after the start. Liberal Jones and Eye Dunno collided approaching the first turn and again on the first turn. Luka's Choice and Ginny Woolf collided approaching the home turn.

Sketchy Skinny was vetted and re-vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right back muscle injury. A 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Crakerjack Des was quick to begin. Fabelite and Crackerjack Des collided approaching the first turn. Spritely Star and Through collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn. Fabelite raced wide in the home straight.

The start of this event was delayed by approximately 1min 40sec due to operational issues.

Stewards issued a warning to Mr M. D'angelo, the handler of Jumbo Bale regarding his failure to appear at the kennels by the appointed time to retrieve the greyhound for racing.

Outta My Depth was quick to begin. Dubai Prince and Lireva collided soon after the start and again approaching the first turn checking Dubai Prince. Miss Pocket Aces and Ryben Jack collided approaching the first turn and again approaching the home turn. Lireva, Miss Pocket Aces and Ryben Jack collided on the home turn. Miss Pocket Aces and Dubai Prince collided entering home straight.

Zipping Stan was slow to begin. Scott It and Zipping Stan collided approaching the first turn. Clovally Granite, Zipping Stan and Little Dynamo collided on the first turn. Zipping Stan and Little Dynamo collided approaching the home turn. All Inn Mishap raced wide in the home straight.

Mini Fernando was slow to begin. Flying Joker, Rhino Rex and Dum Didee Dum collided approaching the first turn. Kiewa Cowboy eased approaching the first turn and collided with Rhino Rex. Flying Joker, Dum Didee Dum and Troy Boyce collided on the first turn. Kiewa Cowboy raced wide in the home straight.

Kiewa Cowboy was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained no apparent injury. Stewards spoke to Mr W. Leitch, the trainer of the greyhound Kiewa Cowboy regarding the greyhounds racing manners in the back straight.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) stewards charged Kiewa Cowboy with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Mr Leitch pleaded guilty to the charge, Kiewa Cowboy was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Shepparton and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

A pre race sample was taken from Twilight Liason.

The start of this event was delayed by appoximately 1min 20secs due to a greyhound race in Hobart.

Proven Neb was slow to begin. Black Pocket, Galo's Best and All Inn Youi collided soon after the start. Proven Neb clipped the heels of Why Not Archie approaching the first turn checking Proven Neb. Black Pocket, Galo's Best, All Inn Youi and Proven Neb on the first turn checking Black Pocket and Galo's Best. Proven Neb raced wide in the home straight.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Bear Left trialled over the 450m from box 8, weight 32.2kgs, the greyhound was placed first in a field of four. The time of the trial was 25.30, the greyhound won by a margin of 4.75L. Bear Left was Cleared.
