Mo Daniher was slow to begin.
Silvio Dante, Icarus and Amy Laura collided soon after the start, checking Icarus. Stavros, Silvio Dante, Hip Hippy Shake and Amy Laura collided approaching the first turn. Hip Hippy Shake, Amy Laura and Mo Daniher collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Amy Laura which subsequently tailed off and causing Mo Daniher to fall.
Amy Laura was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury.
Mo Daniher was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle, right latissimus dorsi, right quadriceps and a spike wound to the left front paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.
A sample was taken from Double Tax - the winner of the event.
