Dynamic Rainbow and Rickett's Point were quick to begin. I'm Circus was slow to begin. 

Dynamic Rainbow, Tankalicious, Patchie Thief and cool Coco collided approaching the first turn, checking Patchie Thief and Topaz Warrior. Tankalicious, Dynamic Rainbow and Cool Coco collided on the first turn, checking Dynamic Rainbow. Tankalicious and Cool Coco collided approaching the home turn. Patchie Thief was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a spike wound to the right hind paw. No stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Quinn, the handler of the greyhound Patchie Thief regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Patchie Thief with marring. Mr Quinn pleaded not guilty to the charge, Patchie Thief was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warrnambool and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

I'm Circus was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right sartorius muscle. A 10 day stand down period was imposed, 

Mo Daniher was slow to begin. 

Silvio Dante, Icarus and Amy Laura collided soon after the start, checking Icarus. Stavros, Silvio Dante, Hip Hippy Shake and Amy Laura collided approaching the first turn. Hip Hippy Shake, Amy Laura and Mo Daniher collided approaching the home turn, severely checking Amy Laura which subsequently tailed off and causing Mo Daniher to fall.

Amy Laura was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Mo Daniher was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right monkey muscle, right latissimus dorsi, right quadriceps and a spike wound to the left front paw. A 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Zed Merrett  was a late scratching at 5.56PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to bruising on right hind leg . A 3 day stand down period was imposed.

Mepunga Billy stumbled at box rise and was slow to begin. 

Rixy Ya Pest, Galactic Cat and Dream Future collided approaching the first turn, checking Galactic Cat. Dream Future and My Mate Wally collided on the first turn. Bomber Creek, Dream Future and My Mate Wally collided on the home turn. 

Mepunga Billy was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury. 

Short Notice and More Despondent was slow to begin. 

Dynamic Ross, Larrikan Bozzie and Star Catcher collided soon after the start. Larrikan Bozzie checked off Dynamic Ross approaching the first turn, checking Short Notice. Speckie Mckean raced wide approaching the home turn. More Despondent, Why Not Fletch and Dynamic Ross collided approaching the home turn. Emerly Mee Too was a late scratching at 10.36AM  due to illness (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. Stewards spoke to trainer Ms C.Allan and accepted her explanation regarding the late scratching.
