A pre-race sample was taken from Octo Flash upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.
Master Winslow and Aqualite were slow to begin.
Nostalgia and Attack Plan collided soon after the start. Covfefe and Zambora Lord collided soon after the start and again approaching the 300m mark. Zambora Lord and Attack Plan collided at the 300m mark, severely checking Zambora Lord which lost ground as a result. Covfefe checked off Octo Flash at the 200m mark. Aqualite and Octo Flash collided several times approaching the 150m mark. Aqualite and Nostalgia collided at the 150m mark. Attack Plan and Bruree Boy collided at the 50m mark. Aqualite and Octo Flash collided approaching the winning post.
