Turfman was slow to begin.
My Fernando Tim and Rapid Rock collided several times from approaching the 250m mark to the 200m mark. Big Gee Tee and Shake The Night collided at the 200m mark. Uncatchable and Big Gee Tee collided approaching the 100m mark. Uncatchable checked off Shake The Night approaching the winning post. Superior Scotch and Rapid Rock collided approaching the winning post.
Stewards questioned Ms Tyllah Cornell in relation to her failure to engage a catcher for the greyhound Uncatchable for this event. After taking evidence, Stewards charged Ms Cornell with a breach of rule GAR 48. Ms Cornell pleaded guilty to the charge and was fined $50.
