Steward's Report
Mr S Levett, trainer of Miss Vane, declared a new weight of 27.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Miss Vane last raced at 26.8kg.
Mini Dozer crossed to the outside soon after the start, checking Miss Vane, Lilrigg, Wet And Wild and Jupiter Asending. Lilrigg crossed to the rail approaching the 200m mark, checking Mini Dozer and Tricky Trey. Miss Vane checked off Wet And Wild at the 50m mark. Luca Flyer and Renegade collided approaching the winning post.
Tricky Trey was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right hind leg and a spike wound to the right hind foot. A 14-day stand down period was imposed.
