Striking Weetbix was slow to begin. Reiko Ablett, Notorious Mac and Sennachie collided soon after the start checking Notorious Mac and Sennachie. Flossing checked off Black Opium approaching the first turn and collided with Neo Cleo. Neo Cleo and Go Seek Heidi collided approaching the first turn. Striking Weetbix and Reiko Ablett collided approaching the first turn. Striking Weetbix, Reiko Ablett, Notorious Mac and Sennachie collided on the first turn checking Reiko Ablett and Notorious Mac. Neo Cleo, Go Seek Heidi and Sennachie collided on the first turn checking Go Seek Heidi, severely checking Striking Weetbix and Notorious Mac causing Striking Weetbix to stumble as a result. Neo Cleo checked off Sennachie approaching the second turn. Neo Cleo and Reiko Ablett collided approaching the second turn, severely checking Neo Cleo.
