Steward's Report
Vivatar was quick to begin. Vivatar crossed to the rail soon after the start. Spandau Ballet and Magic Octagon collided approaching the first turn and on the first turn checking Spandau Ballet which contacted the running rail. Lektra Fireball and Magic Octagon collided on the first turn checking Magic Octagon.
Happy Medium was vetted following the event and revetted following race 5. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
Stewards spoke to Mrs A Dailly, the Trainer of the greyhound Happy Medium. Stewards deemed the performance of Happy Medium unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, Stewards directed that Happy Medium must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
