Steward's Report
Karaka, Sergeant Schultz and Diesel Turbo were quick to begin. Dyna Arrow, Murray Mojito and Weeona Bulldozer were slow to begin. Karaka, Red Hot Attitude and Sergeant Schultz collided approaching the first turn checking Karaka, Red Hot Attitude and Zed Merrett. Murray Mojito and Diesel Turbo collided approaching the first turn checking Diesel Turbo. Karaka and Murray Mojito collided approaching the home turn checking Murray Mojito. Diesel Turbo was checked off Murray Mojito approaching the home turn. Sergeant Schultz and Weeona Bulldozer collided approaching the home turn and again on the home turn causing Sergeant Schultz to race wide and check Weeona Bulldozer. Dyna Arrow eased and failed to pursure the lure on the home turn. Red Hot Attitude raced wide on the home turn. Karaka and Weeona Bulldozer collided approachng the winning post.
Dyna Arrow was vetted following the event and after being re-vetted following event 10, it was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Ms. T. Collins the representative for Dyna Arrow regarding the greyhound's racing manners on the home turn. Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Dyna Arrow with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment. Ms. Collins pleaded guilty to the charge, Dyna Arrow was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Warragul and it was directed that the greyhound perform a satisfactory trial all tracks pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
