Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Italian Plastic, Mr. H. Manolitsis regarding his betting activities in this race. Mr. Manolitsis stated that he hadn't supported the greyhound and was not intending to due to the expected short price of his greyhound.
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Eyes On You, Ms. A. Terry regarding her scratching the greyhound in this event, Ms. Terry reported that the greyhound was scratched due to a serious wrist injury. Ms. Terry has been requested to present the greyhound at Warragul on Tuesday 5th February. (GAR 23 (3)).
Stewards spoke to the trainer of Riveting Ms. K. Leek regarding her scratching of the greyhound in this event. Ms. Leek reported that the greyhound was scratched due to a back muscle injury. Ms. Leek has been requested to present the greyhound at Cranbourne tomorrow. (GAR 23 (3)).
A pre-race sample was taken from Italian Plastic.
Zipping Spud and Militant Spirit were quick to begin.

Supplementary Report, 2/2/19
Trainer Ms K. Leek presented the greyhound Riveting as requested GAR 23(3). On examination by the On Track Veterinarian the greyhound was found to have a left back muscle injury, this injury was consistent with the reason for the scratching of the greyhound from the Bendigo event. In the opinion of the O.T.V it was considered to be a 14 day stand down injury. Stewards spoke to Ms Leek in relation to her knowledge of any betting activities on the event. Ms Leek stated she had not supported any greyhound in this event.
Trainer Ms A. Terry presented the greyhound Eyes On You as requested GAR 23(3). On examination by the On Track Veterinarian the greyhound was found to have a right wrist injury and a left chest muscle injury, the right wrist injury was consistent with the reason for the scratching of the greyhound from the Bendigo event. In the opinion of the O.T.V it was considered to be a 14 day stand down injury. Stewards spoke to Ms Terry in relation to her knowledge of any betting activities on the event. Ms Terry stated she had not supported any greyhound in this event.
Supplemenrary Report 9/2/2019
Stewards completed their enquiries into this event; upon examination no irregular betting activities were found by GRV investigators. Trainers K.Leek, A.Terry both presented their greyhounds as requested for Veterinary inspection and found to be injured. Manolitsis, Leek and Terry were all advised that no further inquires would be conducted pending the production of any new evidence.
