Steward's Report
A pre-race sample was taken from Banjo Milne.
Fast Freddie and Swoop And Peck collided soon after the start checking Fast Freddie. Swoop And Peck, Stylish Chief and Banjo Milne collided approaching the first turn checking Stylish Chief. Tashendo and Banjo Milne collided on the first turn. Fast Freddie lost ground approaching the home turn. Swoop And Peck and Banjo Milne collided approaching the winning post.
Fast Freddie was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right shoulder joint, left track leg shin soreness, right pencil and left and right groin muscles. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
Stewarda spoke to Mr R.Toslon trainer of Fast Freddie regarding the greyhounds racing manners throughout the event. Mr Tolson stated that the greyhound was up in class and the injuries sustained would have contributed to the greyhounds performance. Stewards noted Mr Tolsons explanation and took no further action.
