Brocky was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Mac's Mayhem was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a laceration to the left hind stifle. A stand down period of 10 days was imposed.

My Names Barry, Manila Sprite and Kraken Dust collided approaching the home turn checking Kraken Dust, Militant Magic and Manila Sprite. Militant Magic clipped the heels of My Name's Barry approaching the winning post.

Stewards spoke to Mr. A. Moro, the trainer of the greyhound Militant Magic regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home straight. Militant Magic was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained injuries to the right groin muscle, a 7 day stand down period was imposed.  Acting under GAR 69(B)(1), the stewards charged Militant Magic with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Moro pleaded not guilty to the charge, Militant Magic was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a),  before any future nomination will be accepted.

Stewarda spoke to Mr R.Toslon trainer of Fast Freddie regarding the greyhounds racing manners throughout the event. Mr Tolson stated that the greyhound was up in class and the injuries sustained would have contributed to the greyhounds performance. Stewards noted Mr Tolsons explanation  and took no further action.

Monster Machine, Fabstar and Zipping Amber collided approaching the first turn. Dragonstone, Fabstar and Zipping Amber collided on the first turn checking Fabstar and Zipping Amber and causing Husky Beatle to stumble and lose ground as a result. Fabstar and Zipping Amber collided approaching the home turn checking Fabstar. Monster Machine and Hodge's Lane collided entering the home straight.

Meeting Comments:-

Satisfactory Trial Results - Kraken Smiles trialled over the 500mt from box 3, weight 37.7kg, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 28.53, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 2L. Kraken Smiles was cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Golden Shiraz trialled over the 500mt from box 6, weight 27.7kg, the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 5. The time of the trial was 28.53, the greyhound won by a margin of 1.25L. Golden Shiraz was cleared.

Supplementary Report 12.11.18

Stewards spoke to Mr K. Eyles at the Shepparton Race Meeting on 12.11.18, the trainer of Kraken Smiles regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced.  Kraken Smiles last raced on 24 June, 2018. Mr Eyles stated that the greyhound was resuming racing following a broken left foot.
