A pre-race sample was taken from Manila Bala.
Manila Bala was quick to begin. Super Spolly and I'm Orion collided soon after the start. Super Spolly and I'm Orion collided approaching the first turn. Five Times Tables checked off Temporalis on the first turn. Temporalis checked off Manila Bale on the first turn. Temporalis checked off Ah Sugar Sugar approaching the home turn severely checking Temporalis which lost ground as a result. Midnight Memphis checked off Five Times Table on the home turn. Super Spolly and I'm Orion collided on the home turn.
Temporalis was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left hind toe injury. A stand down period of 7 days was imposed.
