Brake Drum, Dashing Diamond and Sariah Allen collided soon after the start checking Dashing Diamond and Sariah Allen. Dashing Diamond galloped on the heels of Jackson's Girl's on the first turn severely checking Jackson's Girl which lost ground as a result. Sariah Allen faltered on the home turn. Both Jackson's Girl and Sariah Allen tailed off.
