Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Grills, the trainer of Hilary's Beers regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hilary's Beers competed in a Satisfactory Trial on 23rd August, 2018. Mr. Grills stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.
A pre race sample was taken from Why Not Fletch.
Lana's Image and Raging Rampant were slow to begin.
Hilary's Beers, Sanya Bay and Why Not Fletch collided approaching the first turn. Boston Quay checked off Cee Magic on the first turn checking Hawkie, Why Not Fletch, Sanya Bay and Hilary's Beers. Hilary's Beers and Sanya Bay collided approaching the winning post.
