Stewards spoke to Mr. P. Grills, the trainer of Hilary's Beers regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Hilary's Beers competed in a Satisfactory Trial on 23rd August, 2018.  Mr. Grills stated that the greyhound was returning to racing after being on season.

Yep Yep and Cee Me Snoop collided soon after the start. Quen Bale checked off Cash No Bounce on the first turn. Articus checked off Flying Action approaching the home turn. Articus and Cool Number collided approaching the home turn checking Articus. Articus and Quen Bale collided on the home turn. Flying Action and Cash No Bounce collided in the home straight checking Cash No Bounce. Yep Yep checked off Cee Me Snoop in the home straight.

Articus was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Unwanted Lady was quick to begin. Destini Jaguar was slow to begin.

She's Fabtastic was a late scratching at 5.20PM on the advice of the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon due to an elevated temperature. A 7 day stand down period was imposed. 

A  Car Park sample was unable to be obtained from Taylor Bale. A pre race sample was subsequently taken. 

Bingo Boon, Murrabit Benny and Cosmic Creek were slow to begin.

Ms. N. Stanley, trainer of Wanchai Express declared a new weight of 35.7kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Wanchai Express last raced at 34.3kg

Spritely Brew was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

A sample was taken from Cosmic Ann - the winner of the event.

Champagne Luxe, Pumpernickel and Azalea were quick to begin.

Jackson's Girl was quick to begin.

Brake Drum, Dashing Diamond and Sariah Allen collided soon after the start checking Dashing Diamond and Sariah Allen. Dashing Diamond galloped on the heels of Jackson's Girl's on the first turn severely checking Jackson's Girl which lost ground as a result. Sariah Allen faltered on the home turn. Both Jackson's Girl and Sariah Allen tailed off.
