Super Fay and Airly Spence were slow to begin. Poison Gas, Yuken Sunshine and Campbell Rose collided approaching the first turn. Super Fay, Poison Gas, Yuken Sunshine and Campbell Rose collided on the first turn checking Campbell Rose, severely checking Yuken Sunshine. Airly Spence checked off Just Burning on the home turn. Yuken Sunshine raced wide in the home straight.
