Pursuant to GAR 104 (6), Kennel Attendant Ms. V. Finne-Larsen did not act in any official capacity for this event.
A pre-race sample was taken from Supraspinatus.
Mega McKayla was quick to begin. Beanology and Emilia Mel were slow to begin. Mega McKayla, Disco Lemonade and Supraspinatus collided on the first turn checking Disco Lemonade and severely checking Mega McKayla. Disco Lemonade and Beanology collided approaching the home turn causing Disco Lemonade to contact the running rail checking both greyhounds.
Disco Lemonade was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.
MEETING COMMENTS:
Satisfactory Trial Results - Moroka Assassin trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 37.3kgs, the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4. The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25 lengths. Moroka Assassin was Cleared.
