Airly With Grace was slow to begin.  Keep Still, Aston Mambo and Zipping Buffy collided on the first turn.  Airly With Grace checked off Jeda's Girl on the first turn and stumbled as a result.  Keep Still, Aston Mambo and Jeda's Girl collided on the first turn checking Keep Still and Aston Mambo.  Keep Still, Aston Mambo and Airly With Grace collided approaching the home turn severely checking Aston Mambo and Airly With Grace.  Diamond Icon and Zipping Buffy collided on the home turn.

Ima Ghost Buster and El Burrito were slow to begin.  Zipping Josette and Sassy Pak collided on the first turn checking both greyhounds.  Ohana Lad and Arctic Iggy collided on the home turn.  Ohana Lad eased entering the home straight.

Stewards spoke to Mr. R. Floyd, the trainer of the greyhound Ohana Lad regarding the greyhound's racing manners entering the home straight. Ohana Lad was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained dislocated left front toe, soreness in the right shoulder and a spike wound to the left hind foot, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.   Acting under GAR 69(B)(1) stewards charged Ohana Lad with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment (by reason of injury).  Mr. Floyd pleaded guilty to the charge.  Ohana Lad was found guilty and stewards directed that the greyhound perform a Satusfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(B)(1)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Midnight Marzy was very slow to begin (7 lengths).  Tiger Dusty and Our Gal Livy collided on the first turn checking Tiger Dusty.  Our Gal Livy lost ground approaching the home turn.

Fairy Vixen was slow to begin.  Hundred, Piriformis and Mega Hazel collided soon after the start checking Hundred and Mega Hazel.  Premier Jess, Grande Fratello, Piriformis and Able Bess collided approaching the first turn checking Grande Fratello and Piriformis.  Premier Jess, Fairy Vixen and Able Bess collided on the first turn checking Able Bess.  Premier Jess and Piriformis collided approaching the home turn.  Mega Hazel checked off Hundred on the home turn.

Mega McKayla was quick to begin.  Beanology and Emilia Mel were slow to begin.  Mega McKayla, Disco Lemonade and Supraspinatus collided on the first turn checking Disco Lemonade and severely checking Mega McKayla.  Disco Lemonade and Beanology collided approaching the home turn causing Disco Lemonade to contact the running rail checking both greyhounds.

Disco Lemonade was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Moroka Assassin trialled over the 440m from box 8, weight 37.3kgs,  the greyhound was placed 3rd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 24.85, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25 lengths.  Moroka Assassin was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial Results - Alberto trialled over the 440m from box 1, weight 30.2kgs,  the greyhound was placed 1st in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 24.85,  the greyhound won by a margin of 4.25 lengths.  Alberto was Cleared.

Satisfactory Trial results - Ohana Sparkles trialled over the 440m from box 5, weight 29.1kgs,  the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of 4.  The time of the trial was 24.85,  the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 4.25 lengths.  Ohana Sparkles was Cleared.
