Sparky Neveelk was slow to begin. Sparky Neveelk and Bar King Buddy collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds. Sparky Neveelk and Akina Dee Jay collided on the first turn checking Akina Dee Jay and Mars Rising causing Popowski and Mars Rising to fall checking Bar King Buddy. Midnight Memphis and Wharfies Girl collided in the back straight.
Mars Rising was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
