Steward's Report
Velocity Whisper was a late scratching at 6.00pm on the advice of the Club's Veterinary Surgeon due to an injured left hind toe. A 7 day stand down period was imposed.
A pre-race sample was taken from Aston Liesel.
Juno Away was quick to begin. Secret Message and Belleperi Miss collided soon after the start checking Belleperi Miss. Aston Liesel and Sooky Jooky collided on the first turn checking Aston Liesel. Aston Liesel was checked off Checker Plate on the home turn severely checking Belleperi Miss. Secret Message, Sooky Jooky, Aston Liesel and Belleperi Miss raced wide in the home straight.

Supplementary Report, 11/7/18:
Following Race 8 Stewards received a complaint from trainer Mr. Raymond Floyd regarding the conduct of licensed person Mr. Jason Thompson. Mr. Raymond Floyd reported an alleged incident that occured in the kennels and outside the kennel building. Stewards spoke to Mr Jason Thompson regarding the allegations and also viewed the CCTV footage of the kennels. Stewards also spoke to and took evidence from registered persons Mr. Graham Brown, Mr. Samuel Tyler & Mr. Robert Conway, After speaking with all parties Stewards establish that Mr. Thompson‘s comment to Mr. Floyd in the kennels was not acceptable. Stewards subsequently issued a warning to Mr. Thompson regarding his conduct relating to this incident, GAR 86(q).
