Steward's Report
Stewards spoke to Mr. S. Collyer the representative for Night King regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Night King last raced on 12/04/18. Mr. Collyer stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a spell. Mr. Collyer declared a new weight of 37.3kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Night King last raced at 36.0kg.
Stewards spoke to Mr. G. Brown the trainer of Rapanui Revival regarding the length of time the greyhound has had between races. Rapanui Revival last raced on 04/03/18. Mr. Brown stated that the greyhound was returning to racing following a right back muscle injury.
A pre-race sample was taken from Dreamy Julian.
Night King, Dreamy Julian and Rapanui Revival were slow to begin. Dreamy Julian and Audacious Bell collided on the first turn checking Dreamy Julian. Night King and Dreamy Julian collided on the home turn. Audacious Bell raced wide in the home straight.
