Steward's Report
No Passengers, Freddy Perfect and Mallee Spring were slow to begin. No Passengers and Wild Angel collided soon after the start checking No Passengers. Salute The Judge was checked off Wilburn approaching the first turn. Salute The Judge and Wild Angel collided on the first turn checking Wild Angel, subsequently checking No Passengers and Freddy Perfect. Salute The Judge and Pistol collided on the home turn. No Passengers raced wide in the home straight. Wild Angel cramped approaching the winning post and collapsed after the finishing line.
Wild Angel was vetted following the event. It was reported that there was no injury apparent.
Stewards spoke to Mr. W. Read the trainer of the greyhound Wild Angel. Acting in accordance with GAR 71 (cramp) Stewards directed that the greyhound must perform a satisfactory trial before any future nomination will be accepted.
