An out of competition sample was taken from Gojek engaged in this event on 09/07/18 pursuant to GAR 79A.
Mrs. M. Lithgow the representative for Gojek declared a new weight of 32.9kg for the greyhound in accordance with GAR 39(2). Gojek last raced at 34.9kg.
Banjo's Affair and Magic Trap were slow to begin. Gojek, Gee Dalton and Lightning Parade collided approaching the first turn checking Gojek and Gee Dalton. Comets Gold and Shanlyn Bubbles collided approaching the first turn. Lightning Parade and Comets Gold collided on the first turn. Comets Gold was checked off Magic Trap on the first turn. Gojek and Gee Dalton collided on the first turn.
Banjo's Affair was vetted following the event after an incident in the catching pen. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injured right shoulder muscle, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.
