Steward's Report
Dyna Raze, Time Away and Firelight Twist were quick to begin. Tantalise was slow to begin and turned it's head at box rise.
Keisha's Boy checked off Communique approaching the first turn and raced wide to the home straight as a result. Time Away, Firelight Twist and Communique collided on the first turn, checking Firelight Twist.
Tantalise was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained an injury to the right long head triceps (monkey) muscle. A ten-day stand down period was imposed.
Stewards spoke to Ms Cheryl Pirani, the trainer of the greyhound Tantalise. Stewards deemed the performance of Tantalise unsatisfactory in this event and acting in accordance with GAR 71, directed that Tantalise must perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks) before any future nomination will be accepted.
A sample was taken from Balance, the winner of the event.
