Steward's Report
A pre race sample was taken from Mask.
Trickster's Son was quick to begin. Clovalley Rang and Daintree Teacake were slow to begin. Mask, Clovalley Rang and Daintree Teacake collided approaching the first turn checking Daintree Teacake and Clovalley Rang. Clovalley Rang checked off Daintree Teacake on the first turn. Mask checked off Duke Of Dallas approaching the home turn. Duke Of Dallas checked off Tooralee on the home turn.
Gnocchi was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained a thoraco-lumbar injury, a 3 day stand down period was imposed.
Meeting Comments:
Satisfactory Trial Results (GAR 77A) - Stewards spoke to Mr J.Donaldson, the trainer of She's Quite regarding the length of time since the greyhound last raced. She's Quite last raced on 20 July, 2017. Mr Donaldson stated that the greyhound was resuming racing after being seasonal. Pursuant to GAR 77A, She's Quite trialled over the 390m from box 8, weight 26.9kg, the greyhound was placed 2nd in a field of four starters. The time of the trial was 22.96, the greyhound was beaten by a margin of 6.25 lengths. She's Quite was Cleared.
