Steward's Report
Libby's Dream was a late scratching at 7:33 am, due to injury (GAR 23). A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted.
Expense Eve was slow to begin. Straitline Willy was very slow to begin (4L). Uprising and Galloping Rokyto collided soon after the start. Miss Terindah, Benny's Entity and Uprising collided approaching the first turn, checking Benny's Entity and Uprising. Straitline Willy checked off Expense Eve on the first turn. Benny's Entity and Galloping Rokyto collided on the second turn. Galloping Rokyto faded from approaching the third turn. Expense Eve galloped on Uprising entering the home straight, checking both greyhounds.
Galloping Rokyto was vetted following the event. It was reported that the greyhound sustained left and right back muscle injuries, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.
