Steward's Report

Oriental Sienna was quick to begin.  Sniper Strike and Knocker's Gold collided soon after the start.  Miss Tatts, Superior Bont and Undenied Access collided soon after the start.  Miss Tatts checked off Superior Bont approaching the first turn.  Miss Tatts and Undenied Access collided on the second turn.  Superior Bont checked off Placid Pause on the third turn.  Placid Pause failed to pursue the lure with due committment approaching the home turn and collided with Limburg Patrick.

Stewards spoke to Mr Darren Bain, the owner of the greyhound Placid Pause, regarding the greyhounds racing manners approaching the home turn.  Acting under GAR 69(A)(1) Stewards charged Placid Pause with failing to pursue the lure with due commitment.  Mr Bain pleaded not guilty to the charge, Placid Pause was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(A)(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.
