Run The Route was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle injury, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Nick Lecchino the representative regarding his difficulty in boxing the greyhound George's Fever. Stewards directed that George's Fever be boxed first in future events.

Galina Reznikov and Red Hot Chevy were quick to begin.  Miss Gingin was slow to begin.

Miss Gingin and Caribbean Red collided soon after the start checking Miss Gingin.  Miss Gingin checked off Caribbean Red approaching the first turn.  Jemma's Fantasy and Cool Coco collided on the first turn checking Jemma's Fantasy.  Miss Gingin checked off Jemma's Fantasy approaching the second turn.  Galina Reznikov and Red Hot Chevy collided approaching the home turn and again entering the home straight checking Galina Reznikov.  Jemma's Fantasy and Staggerism collided entering the home straight.

Trainer of Red Hot Chevy expressed to stewards that the greyhound had been trialing well and he was dissappointed how the greyhound finished off the event tonight, Red Hot Chevey was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left monkey muscle soreness, left and right hip support soreness, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

Zipping Zoe was quick to begin.  Rumble Drive was slow to begin.

Fleur Delacour and Rumble Drive collided soon after the start checking Rumble Drive.  Seabrook Eb and Fleur Delacour collided approaching the first turn checking Seabrook Eb.  Ishmy Girl checked off South Of Eden approaching the first turn checking Fleur Delacour.  Rumble Drive raced wide on the first turn.  Ishmy Girl and Fleur Delacour collided on the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Tiggerlong Zorro and Zipping Zoe collided approaching the third turn checking both greyhounds.

Jane's Intention and Good Luck Mark were slow to begin.

Chevsta was slow to begin.

Chevsta and May Haze collided soon after the start checking Chevsta.  Verne Allen and Immen Bale collided approaching the first turn.  Verne Allen, Immen Bale and Chevsta collided on the first turn checking Verne Allen, Immen Bale, Chevsta and Jaclyn Bale, causing Jaclyn Bale to stumble, Chevsta and Jaclyn Bale raced wide as a result.  Miss Innings and Leprechaun Storm collided on the second turn checking Leprechaun Storm.  Verne Allen checked off Immen Bale entering the back straight.  Leprechaun Storm and Dyna Evelyn collided in the home straight.  

Lila Bale and Barry Bomber were quick to begin.  

Dyna Gertie and Destini Cavalier collided soon after the start checking both greyhounds.  Dyna Gertie and Destini Cavalier collided approaching the first turn.  Dyna Gertie checked off Idabelle Bale on the second turn checking Destini Cavalier and causing Destini Cavalier to race wide.  Barry Bomber raced wide in the home straight.

Dyna Gertie was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a right wrist sprain, a 14 day stand down period was imposed.

A pre-race sample was taken from Dyna Fabrice.

Zipping Captain and Hecton Bale collided soon after the start checking Hecton Bale.  Waleonjon and Dyna Fabrice collided approaching the first turn checking Dyna Fabrice and Zipping Captain.  Mossimo Bale checked off King Colt approaching the first turn.  King Colt and Fast Car Driving collided approaching the second turn checking King Colt.  King Colt checked off Fast Car Driving on the second turn checking King Colt, Waleonjon and Dyna Fabrice.  Dyna Fabrice and Zipping Captain collided on the second turn checking Zipping Captain.  Hecton Bale checked off Waleonjon in the back straight. 

Spring Bomber was a late scratching at 12:50pm due to an injury (GAR 23).  A 10 day stand down period was imposed. Stewards will require a veterinary certificate before any future nomination will be accepted. 

Pre-race samples were taken from Light The Track and Mepunga Debbie upon arrival at the course, prior to kennelling.

Crash Cobra was slow to begin.

Nicky Neo checked off Black Impala on the first turn checking Crash Cobra and severely checking Nicky Neo and Sisco Ride causing Sisco Ride to fall. Black Impala and Go Seek Fernando collided entering the front straight.  Light The Track checked off Go Seek Fernando on the seocnd turn checking Black Impala.  Crash Cobra marred Light The Track on the home turn.  Crash Cobra veered out and marred Light The Track in the home straight.  

Nicky Neo was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.  

Sisco Ride was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained right saddle soreness, a 10 day stand down period was imposed.

Crash Cobra was vetted following the event.  It was reported that the greyhound sustained a left sesamoid, left monkey muscle, left and right trapezius injuries, a 21 day stand down period was imposed.

Stewards spoke to Mr Mark Giddings, the trainer of the greyhound Crash Cobra regarding the greyhounds racing manners on the home turn and in the home straight.  Acting under GAR 69(1) stewards charged Crash Cobra with marring. Mr Giddings pleaded guilty to the charge, Crash Cobra was found guilty and suspended for 28 days at Sandown and it was directed that the greyhound perform a Satisfactory Trial (all tracks), pursuant to GAR 69(2)(a) before any future nomination will be accepted.

Dance And Sing crossed in soon after the start checking Loch Monster, Mepunga Pride and Dyna Terror.  Dyna Terror and Mepunga Pride collided approaching the second turn checking both greyhounds.  Mepunga Pride, Dyna Terror and Pop The Trunk collided entering the back straight checking Dyna Terror.  

Dance And Sing was vetted following the event.  It was reported that there was no apparent injury found.

Give Me Wings and Soft Sand collided soon after the start.  Soft Sand, Power To Wyn and Orazzi Ohh collided on the first turn.  Nash Road Betty raced wide on the second turn checking On The Runway.  Soft Sand and Orazzi Ohh collided on the second turn.  On The Runway checked off Nash Road Betty in the back straight.  Power To Wyn galloped on Give Me Wings in the home straight.
